what i can help you with

Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy can mean so many things, so please have a look below at what I can help you with.

I was trained in clinical sexology, relationship therapy & systemic family therapy & therefore focus a lot less on general therapy, so if you feel you have high anxiety or depression, for example, that is more overwhelming than the psychosexual or relational, please head to the COSRT, BACP or UKCP website to look for other therapists who have a wider, more general knowledge too. For more Queer therapists like me, go to Pink Therapy.

This list below is not exhaustive, so if you are still unsure, you can contact me and ask.

am i the right fit for you?

Maybe I’m not & that’s OK! All therapists have their niche in their style & realistically cannot cover all topics to a high standard. This is why I do not claim to cover all Psychosexual & Relationship issues equally well, as although I have had the relevant training, I prefer to focus on what I know & enjoy best [listed above].

My friend and colleague, Charlotte Burgess is here to help you with the following that I cover less and more:

Compulsive Sexual Behaviour (AKA sex addiction)

Kink & Fetish

Intimate Partner Violence

Sexual Violence

  • Charlotte is a qualified Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist registered with both COSRT & the BACP. We trained on the same diploma & I trust her therapeutic judgement & skill on the Specialities I tend not to cover. She is also very capable on the specialities I do cover, so you can email her to ask more.

“I am intent on breaking barriers around the conversation of pleasure & how there is no one right way to participate, enjoy and engage in giving and receiving pleasure. I believe sexuality to be the essence of self-expression & work towards removing shame & stigma around sex.

I am kink knowledgeable coming from a background in sex work and kink/fetish. I am passionate about demystifying this area, smashing through the taboo & bringing awareness to the niche preferences that many enjoy partaking in for all kinds of pleasure. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and pride myself on being all inclusive while creating a safe, non-judgmental space for all.

I work pluralistically from a contemporary biopsychosocial framework which incorporates all aspects of self. My goal is to look at a person holistically (as a whole) while tailoring therapy, rejecting the idea of “box fitting” & working collaboratively with my clients to insight confidence & empowerment in their own autonomy.”
